The Five Aggregates

Form is empty

Like your tongue, your touch, your taste,
the sound of your voice, your scent in space
and in your impermanence, I’ve found
you’ve an addictive quality not soon replaced
appearing muscular, solid – yet not
and, dependent on past patience, quite hot
so when I reach out to grasp, to touch
my mind makes the form I crave so much

Feeling is empty

But dependent upon your appearance
and in dependence upon mine
I have felt this drunken romance
of two dumb hearts entwined
empty of inherent existence
our feelings grew and grew
now in dependence upon your kindness
I feel my heart in you

Discrimination is empty

To tell this from that
seemed rather straightforward
until our limbs were encumbered
with slick sweat and fatigue
and from under, lungs that heaved
and pressed two chests together
so one could not begin nor end
and certainly neither leave
a body that neither of us owns
made two bodies pleased

Compositional Factors are empty

Appropriated aggregates which function
to cause us suffering from our side
for from this contaminated root
grows our self-grasping apprehending I
and then come the branches of delusions
sprouting their poisonous fruit
yet we’re not tempted like Adam and Eve
Enlightenment is our pure pursuit

Consciousness is empty

Still producing samsara
this mind is like a teeter-totter
so we made compassion our motivationĀ
to take self-cherishing to slaughter
equalizing and exchanging with the other
– how taking and giving make you hotter –
with our self-grasping now destroyed
we are water into water

My name is empty

Never to fall into either extreme
I feel your existence like a dream
so tonight when I lay down my head, and
my hand touches yours in our shared bed
I’ll see one achievement more supreme
than how we transformed one evil deed
now easy to remember we’re mere name
still, my wish for you remaining same.

Thirsty Thursday | How love was the end of the Pillsbury Doughboy

(His last words)

I feel gooey inside
I mean more than usual
I think my insides are melting

something warm is happening in my heart
it’s making a bubble
something’s about to pop

this really doesn’t feel quite right
I think I’m rising from the inside out
the heat supposed to be external

but this is gutting me
tearing me apart

hot bit by bit expanding

and do you see this bulge here?
no! not my stomach!

hoo-hoo!!

don’t poke me at a time like this —
can’t you see I’m in pain?

oh! dire pain!

being wrenched apart
baked wrong side out

surely this isn’t in the directions —
can we trouble shoot?

something’s happening to my throat
the words aren’t
                coming out good
no more
ooey gooey heart
hoo-hooo

Okay… so this isn’t the thirstiest. x.x but can you picture that it probably isn’t Mrs. Poppie Fresh Pillsbury Doughboy doing it for him. šŸ˜‰

You might not need a tall glass of water, but perhaps a cold glass of milk and a hot, soft chocolate chip cookie would satisfy you.

The Emperor | Letter 4

Dear Gallantry

The shadow
of the unseen

groundedness
ethereal

skittering claws
on laminate floor

MEW and the splash
of milk poured kindly

I walk to
the temple

hands clasped
feet bloodied
by pilgrimage

I have escaped
two cults

& am now
a pilgrim
in an empty room

walls dissolve into
ecstatic space

galaxies permeated
by lantern lights

opened over lightyears
some long extinguished

into the underworld
a pilgrim’s womb

am I electric
circuit open

lips apart & move
toward

am I electric
if sparks would

come between us
should we kiss

am I electric
bad to touch

I know not what
ill thoughts

your mind produces &
can produce

a stained extreme perversion
pressed over truth

If my mind convince me
You’re the One

The mother being in us all
The child, fun

Yet still the warrior
standing tall

If my mind convince me
choose dead end

Plant the seed, Oh
Foe Destroyer

Reap the harvest, Oh
Great Enjoyer

I see the flame
alight in you

Like a moth I’m drawn
Oh please undo

Like a fly in your web,
Thanatos taboo

The mentor, a gem
my teacher, a guide

The sword in the rock,
Eros, my pride

Tears fall in my lap
in the castle alone

I unearthed the mask
to hide

behind the offering
of pearls

A broken heart reveals
I’m not diamond nor stone

As the flame ignites
the animal yields

So I sought you out, Gallantry,
found you on high

along with your mind and your songs
and your thigh

which I’ve touched in my sleep
as I’ve stroked your hair

I’ve touched you in places where
you usually take care

to preserve with resignation
that we should not be caught

staring too long while we’re working
or not, because

we’ve paused for laughter – my
god overall

I can’t help but wonder what
may come after

for you loved Cattle Call, and that
had me in

hysterics, a place I call home
giddy with giggles

and hellbent to roam.
Yet I

simply walk to the village
just over

that bridge, and I walk there
so slowly

Climbing a mountain to get to
the ridge

finding a heart, healed & holy
set apart

loving the self, deep ocean
reminisce – you’ll

do me the pleasure of delivering
this life’s first kiss

though we’ve shared infinite karma
what’s to ripen

right now can delight and amuse
us while we

still develop, unattached, somehow
we’ll figure

it all out. Are you with me?
Gallantry?

xx, The Empress

Thirsty Thursdays! | Letter 1

Since Hump Day was a little on the nose, I’ve turned to Thirsty Thursday as the appropriate weekday to share Channeled Love Letters.

These tasty treats range from love poems to stories to love letters to playlists and more! Using intuition, clairvoyance, meditation, and creativity mixed with my own cherishing and affectionate love, I have crafted a mixture of fun, smutty, and heartfelt pieces.

These letters are made of words channeled through me from lost lovers, distant places, notes pressed upon my mental continuum, felt in the world’s energy, experienced directly or made up completely.

If that doesn’t make sense yet, I’m sure it soon will. Today I’ll leave you with something short and sweet.

Subtle Devotion

In quiet moments
My mind calls on you
Astral meditation

I touch your cheek
A muse for your mind
& pray to vain gods
That our karma entwine
